Privacy notice

What Concord records when you verify a pack, and why.

Your IP address is never stored

We do not keep your network address. What we store is a pseudonym derived from it that changes every day, so we can spot repeated abuse within a single day without being able to follow anyone from one day to the next.

Location is district and division only

We record the approximate district and division your connection appears to come from, looked up against a database held on our own servers. Your network address is never sent to a third-party location service.

Photos you send us are stripped of hidden data

If you attach a photograph to a report about a suspicious product, we re-encode the image and discard the hidden data cameras add to it — including GPS coordinates, which would otherwise reveal where the photograph was taken.

How long we keep it

Verification records are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Anonymous counts and totals, which identify nobody, are kept indefinitely. A report you submit about a suspicious product is kept as a business record, because it may form part of a regulatory investigation.

One cookie, no tracking

This site sets exactly one cookie, which remembers your choice of language. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party script of any kind. If you have a question about any of the above, please use the support contact in the footer of this page.
